overview
eClinicalworks is one of the leading complete EHR for medical practices. They offer a complete billing and EHR for the medical practitioner. For the most part, the program is reliable and accomplishes what a physician needs in today's electronic healthcare venue. Unfortunately, the company fails at delivering the kind of support and software consistency that would serve to minimize computing failures which results in frustration on the part of providers and their staff. They have a support system that is freely available but in my experience fails at polishing the function of the software with the users needs. The approach has become more like stopping leaks in a barrel rather than making a better container. The last upgrade we went through in April, 2011 is an example of taking one step forward and two steps backward.
